SMS Program
Deskhey SMS Terms and Consent
Deskhey is an AI front desk for medical and aesthetic practices, operated by JP Works LLC.
About this messaging program
Practices using Deskhey may receive transactional SMS messages at the phone number 1-833-331-2012. These messages support day-to-day front-desk operations and include:
- Appointment confirmations
- Appointment reminders
- Secure intake links
- Follow-up communications
- Missed-call text-backs
This is a Customer Care use case, not marketing. We do not send promotional content and we do not send third-party offers through this program.
How you opt in
There are three ways a person consents to receive messages from Deskhey:
- Verbal consent during a call with the Deskhey AI receptionist. The receptionist reads the full disclosure script below before capturing consent.
- Text START to 1-833-331-2012.
- Practice staff enrolls the patient through Deskhey's dashboard with documented patient consent on file.
Deskhey does not initiate SMS to a phone number without prior consent.
Consent to receive messages is not a condition of any purchase or service.
Verbal opt-in script (CTIA-compliant)
This is the exact disclosure the Deskhey AI receptionist reads before capturing verbal consent over the phone. The script meets CTIA Messaging Principles and Best Practices for verbal opt-in:
“Before we wrap up, would you like a text confirmation for your appointment? If yes, [PRACTICE NAME] will send you transactional text messages from Deskhey at 1-833-331-2012: appointment confirmations, reminders, and missed-call follow-ups. Message frequency varies based on your appointment activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out, or HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any service. You can review the full SMS terms at deskhey.com/sms-consent. Can I sign you up for text confirmations?”
The receptionist only proceeds to capture the patient's mobile number after the patient explicitly says “yes” or affirmative equivalent. A “no” or any non-affirmative response routes the caller back to the standard call flow without enrolling in SMS.
The full call audio (when recording is enabled on the practice tenant) and a structured consent timestamp are retained for the required CTIA recordkeeping period.
Message frequency
Frequency varies based on appointment activity. Messages are transactional only and sent in response to practice operations or patient actions.

Privacy and terms
Your information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Protected health information (PHI)
Deskhey does not request or transmit Protected Health Information (PHI) via SMS by default. When PHI handling is required (for example insurance verification or medical history collection), Deskhey directs users to a secure intake link rather than collecting that information by text.
Sample messages
Examples of the transactional messages a patient may receive:
Hi! This is Deskhey confirming your appointment with Dr. Lee at Maple Dental on Tuesday at 2pm. Reply C to confirm or R to reschedule.
Hi! Your appointment with Dr. Lee is tomorrow at 10am. See you then!
We received your call earlier and our receptionist is currently busy. A team member will follow up shortly. For urgent matters, please call back.
